Incredible vintage dress by John Galliano from Fall/Winter 2002 (the shorter/embroidered version shown here on the runway). Ivory (with an intentional light yellowish hue) classic weight denim with tied/acid washed pattern throughout in varying shades of blue. Serving couture meets y2k fused with a hint of Western, this piece features pinning, tucking, pleating, gathering, and draping throughout. Wiggle-like on the upper with a trumpet flare on the lower. Side zipper closure with 14 covered buttons at the bodice. Unlined. An incredible piece from some of the most Galliano-fied years.
